Sharon Has An Idea

"We can't get five people in the Tesla, can we?" Samantha said.

"No. At least one of us would have to ride in the new car," Sharon said.

"I'd rather not be in the same car as Billy, whichever car that is," Rick said. That was greeted by a chorus of "Me neither". It sounded as though Sharon's plan had hit a snag.

Fortunately just then there was a knock on the door, and Billy and Robin came in wreathed in smiles. It seemed that they had made up.

"We're going to rent you a new car so that we can get out of thus dump and back on the road," Jim told them. Robin was properly grateful, but Billy seemed to regard it as no more than his due.
