Mitchell gets comic book injuries. Namely just enough to send him to the hospital for a week, but not enough to keep him from moving around if the plot demands. Mitchell is sitting in a chair in the hospital break room, next to another equally injured person. Both are looking out the window at remodeling done on the hospital's East Wing. Both are grooving on painkillers, as they both have multiple but shallow wounds that had required stitches. A young male Latino nurse, doing paperwork by the snack machines, is keeping an eye on them both. Who is Mitchell's new buddy and what happens next?
