Horsehockey V - Episode 1914

Her mind addled by the teleportation, Edith decides to look at houses for sale. Thanks to a realtor checking out the property with another curious group, Edith is allowed a home tour of 25 Winters Street. It's a bright blue box facing the road, a small area uptop accessible with an outside staircase and a sprawling, delightful maze of a backyard. The inside was a light grey motif. Little cramped.
If Edith had been in her right mind, she would have not liked the house at all. Too small. Too ... tacky, in her opinion. She would have wanted a wide open backyard and an actual, existing front yard. Place to plant flowers. Maybe have a garage sale later.
But we're more worried about her state of mind. She's fooling the realtor. The other possible buyers were a *little* suspect about Edith. Something was off. That they knew.

  1. The realtor remained oblivious and the others said nothing.
  2. The others in the tour group suspected something and insisted Edith sit down and have some water.
  3. Edith's madness cause her to slip out when nobody is looking and go to a different house for sale.
  4. Despite having virtually no ID Edith manages to purchase the house.
  5. Looking uptstairs goes badly when a freak lighting bolt melts the door frame, trapping everyone inside.
  6. A doctor walking his dog sees Edith leave and realizes she is not in a good head space.
  7. Unknown to everyone, there was a smuggling tunnel in the basement. Edith blissfully wanders through and is soon miles away, still underground.
