Horsehockey V - Episode 1654

The wristbands magically connect around your wrist and all of the buttons are on its touch screen. We will go over each section separately.

Map

When the Map button is pressed, a three dimensional map will project in the air in front of you. It is scrollable by touch and shows the name of all stores near you. There is a lexicon visible with map key and you can touch any store to get a description of what is in it as well as any special sales, etc.

Features include:

1. Third person viewpoint (described above).

2. Mall overview perspective. In this viewpoint, you can see an alphabetical list of stores and choose any one for more information as well as its location, special sales, etc. You even get directions, and there is a search box.

3. Directions. When chosen, this will put an arrow in front of you, only visible to you, that will guide you to the location of your choice. You can specify destinations in order, or at once in which case you will assign a color to the arrow based on which destination it is pointing towards.

4. Family/friend tracker. If you get your wristbands linked (you can do this at customer services, take the Shortcut), you can assign a colored dot to each person and be able to track each other as well as communicate like you were each using a walkie.

Guide

This projects a person (you can choose from famous actors, politicians, musicians, or one of over a thousand generic personality types, or even create your own custom one at customer services, for a charge) who will guide you through the mall.

Features include:

1. Multi-assist. This guide can help you use the Map, Services, or any other wristband option. They can suggest places to go based on your input, and even offer their opinion (based on their personality matrix) on what skirt/pants you want to buy.

2. History/Mall guide. They can give you the history of the Multiversal Mall, tell you when the Starbucks at the End of the Multiverse will be at its location, and even tell you about sales at stores that are currently closed (and therefore not in the mall). They will also just walk around the mall chatting with you. Please note that the first time you use the guide you have to sign an agreement waiving privacy on anything you tell the guide. Your experiences with him or her will be added to the personality matrix and used to enhance future guest experiences.

Emergency

The Emergency button is only to be used in case of an actual emergency. Abuse of this button is subject to fees at management discretion. When this button is pushed you can choose one of the following items:

1. Fire! If this option is chosen, you are transported to customer services and the fire system in your area of the mall is tripped to condition 2. This used to automatically trigger the fire suppression but too many people abused it. Now it just triggers a system sweep in that area AND sends personnel there to personally check it out.

2. Assault! You are transported to customer services and the automated security in the area you were in is activated to condition 2. Also, personnel are sent to check it out. Do not abuse this service!

3. Vortex! If you push this button then we are alerted that you have been trapped in a multidimensional vortex such as can be caused by standing in a doorway as a shop is closing, or that just (very rarely) randomly spawn throughout the mall. Also, your wristband sends out a Metaphysical wave that shuts down 90% of vortexes. Please do not push this button to annoy your friends/ parents/ shop owners.

4. Help! This is the generic help option, it will transport you to customer services. Cameras in your area will actively track to see if anything suspicious is going on. Use this option if you have a wristband malfunction.

Services

Choosing this option lets you access Multiversal Mall Shortcuts. These are areas that you can instantly teleport to. Some are free, others are not. Some parts of the mall can only be reached by shortcut, and those usually require an access code and/or aura verification.

Free Shortcuts

1. Starbucks at the End of the Multiverse. One way.
2. Food Plaza. Has free shortcuts to every (open) floor.
3. Customer Services.
4. Car Garage.

Premium Shortcuts

1. My Favorites. For a modest monthly fee, you can create up to ten personal shortcuts to the stores you like the best. This means you can go there instantly. For more money, you can get more shortcuts.

2. My Car. For a nominal fee, you can have a personal shortcut to wherever you park your car. No more walking!

3. Mr. Ziggs Fun Palace. This is an adults-only nightclub that is not accessible by any means other than a shortcut. If you pay the app fee, get approved, and pay the yearly member dues, then you require no further identification to get in. Dancing, Drinking, Smoking, Tripping, anything goes at Mr. Ziggs.

4. Security Office. Must have aura verification and pin ident.

5. Employee Entrance. Must have pin ident.

6. Entertainment District. This is where the nightclubs, some very odd stores, and various other joints of a dubious nature are located. You must fill out paperwork (waivers, etc) and pay a monthly fee with Customer Services to get your aura attuned for entrance. There is also a permanent entry into this area at the end of the blank hallway on Food Plaza. There is a 'storefront' there that gives you the basic info should you want more before you sign up.

  1. Fred, Astra, Velus, Reaibn, Lots, and Ben in the Multiversal Mall!
  2. Behind the scenes in Customer Services...
