Edith Tells All

"First could you show us the exact spot where you materialised?" Red "Scraps" Dupris says.

Edith leads them a short distant out of the hotel. "This is the spot to within a few yards," she says. Timothy Horatio Leary pulls out his mobile phone, and uses GPS to determine the precise co-ordinates, which he then writes down.

They go back into the hotel. "I'm going to call up Google Maps on my phone," Dupris says. "I'll blow up as far as possible a map of the area from which you say you teleported, and then I'd like you to indicate as precisely as possible the exact spot that you came from."

Luckily Edith is quite a good map reader. She points at a spot on the screen. "I'd say it was within at most a hundred yards from there."

"Thank you, Ma'am," Dupris says, noting down the co-ordinates. "You've been most helpful. We'll arrange to get travel documents and some cash sent to you here as quickly as possible. The travel documents will probably take a day or so, though. In the meantime, we'll pay for a room for you in this hotel for tonight."

"Thank you. It's awfully kind of you. I'll pay you back as soon as I can."

"That's not necessary. Think nothing of it."

1. The three ex-CIA agents excuse themselves. Once in a private room, they discuss the portal and the security risk it poses. After all, if someone can teleport out of the US then perhaps people can also teleport in? Donald Trump's wall won't help!
2. We stay with Edith, who is curious about her three "knights in shining armour".
3. Someone else teleports into town, materialising in the exact same spot as Edith had done an hour or so earlier! Did they teleport from the same place, though?
4. Back in Miles City, Bill and Alice go to the police station to file a missing persons report.
