"It's you, it's you!" The lanky man rushes forward, all joints and limbs. The fez almost instantly falls off his head. He does not seem to notice.
"Do you know how long I've been looking for you? Four hundred years, technically. Well, linear fashion. Been a bit longer than that for me. Also four or five bodies. You kind of lose track, the regenerations were a bit nasty. Especially the last one. Anyway, you must come with me. My name is The Doctor."
"Capital letter?" your reply.
"Pardon?" he's putting the hat back on.
"You said 'The Doctor'. I heard the capital letter on 'The'."
"You did? That's amazing. I can speak Capitals but I didn't think anyone but Gallifreyans could discern it. Glad it just confirms I need you to come along."
His hat slides off, to the left. It hits with a soft thunk, kicking up two distinct clouds of dust.

  1. Go with.
  2. Run away.
  3. Take his hat and wear it.
  4. A shorter man, with a black coat, playing a flute, enters.
