The briefcase looks perfectly normal, a black faux-leather model, but it is definitely not yours. You wonder if Steve over in Accounting is playing a prank on you again. There was that time when he put ex-lax into your coffee, you won't forget the subsequent hours for a long time. Fuck Steve.

You sigh and approach the briefcase, innocently lying on your desk, and decide to open it. You notice, immediately, that it is locked with a combination lock. Still bored, and with over three hours left in your day, you decide to try to figure out the combination. Anything to relieve the boredom.

  1. You try 666 666
  2. You try 696 969
  3. You try 123 456
  4. You try various combinations for the better part of an hour, and nothing has worked.
  5. Just when you are reaching to try a combination, your office phone rings. The caller id reads "RESTRICTED". That's odd.
  6. Suddenly, the power goes out.
  7. You stare at the combination for what seems like forever, in decision paralysis, not sure which combination to try.
  8. On second thought, you decide to browse reddit some more.
  9. Your friend Johnny told you about his addiction to interactive fiction. You decide to google that and see what it is all about (METAAAAA)
